Place value partitioning to subtract

My reflection

I have been learning to use place value partitioning to solve subtraction problems. I found this easy because 70-40=30 then 6-5=1 so its 31. My next step is to learn more place value problems.

Avah, it is so great to see you confidently using this strategy to solve these questions. You have come a long way in maths this year, particularly addition and subtraction. Your next step is to work on gaining confidence in multiplication and division. Keep up the good work!
