Reflection

W.A.L.T write a kenning's poem. I was able to put in lots of adjectives. I found this tricky because it was a bit challenging to find verbs. My next step is to find more verbs

I am learning to make a prediction based on the cover and blurb. We had to find the keywords and predict what was going to happen in the story. i find this easy because the keywords weren't that tricky to find. my next step is to get more trickier stuff .

Narrative writing- fractured fairy tale



My reflection

I have been learning to write fractured fairy tale using what I have learned about narrative structures and features. My fractured fairy tale was based on Red riding hood. The best part of this was doing my pixel art. My next step is to add more adjectives and descriptive language to make it more interesting.

Understanding the purpose of characters



Reflection

I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose. I used a Venn diagram to compare Ivan and Stella in the story One and only Ivan. This made me realize the differences  between the characters but also what made them similar is they both have family's. My next step is to be able to use this information to make inferences about the purpose of the characters.
