My reflection

I have been learning to find and summarise information in non-fiction texts.  I found this work tricky because you had to find out information.  I was surprised that animals could camouflage really good to hide from there predators.
My next step is to make sure I summarise the information using my own words.

My reflection

I have been learning to sort even numbers and multiples of 5. I found this tricky because at first I didn't know what numbers to put in each box.

My next step is to put the right numbers in each box.

My Biopoem

My reflection

We have been learning to write a biopoem. A biopoem is a poem written about ourselves.
It has a special structure that we had to use to write our poems.
i found this easy because i already knew about myself.
My next steps are use interesting ideas and words.

My Welcome Post 2017

Welcome to my year 4 learning blog.  This year I am in Room 12 and my teacher is Mrs Melville.  I enjoy swimming.  This year I am looking forward to learning and making new friends.  I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.

Nouns,verbs,adverbs and adjectives

Reflection
I have learnt to find nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs.   I now know that a noun is a thing.  I need to work on recognising adverbs.

Reading the minutes of an analogue clock

Reflection
I have learnt to tell the time.  It was easy because the little hand tells the hour and the long hand tells the minutes so you count how many times the number says in your 5s.  I now know that the little hand is the hour and the long hand is the minutes.
