My Reflection

I have been learning to collect data using a tally chart and show the results on a bar graph.  I found this easy  because you had to go round the classroom and ask them what they like.  I was that a lot of people liked dogs.  My next step is to show the data on different types of graphs.

Tens and ones place value

Reflection

 I.A.L.T show 2 digit numbers on place value material.
 I found this easy because you needed to do just copy what it says underneath.  My next step is to know my place value to the hundreds.

My antonym diamante poem

Reflection

 I have been learning to write an antonym diamante poem. An antonym is a opposite
meaning of the word . Diamante poem is a poem in a shape in a diamond. I found this
tricky because you had to make a poem into a diamond. My next step is to choose two
words that are opposite.

Summarising information. Camouflage presentation

My reflection

I have been learning to find and summarise information in non-fiction texts.  I found this work tricky because you had to find out information.  I was surprised that animals could camouflage really good to hide from there predators.
My next step is to make sure I summarise the information using my own words.

My reflection

I have been learning to sort even numbers and multiples of 5. I found this tricky because at first I didn't know what numbers to put in each box.

My next step is to put the right numbers in each box.

My Biopoem

My reflection

We have been learning to write a biopoem. A biopoem is a poem written about ourselves.
It has a special structure that we had to use to write our poems.
i found this easy because i already knew about myself.
My next steps are use interesting ideas and words.

My Welcome Post 2017

Welcome to my year 4 learning blog.  This year I am in Room 12 and my teacher is Mrs Melville.  I enjoy swimming.  This year I am looking forward to learning and making new friends.  I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.
